Today is a great day. I love that we have a chance to get out and do some work and play! It's still chilly, but we're out and loving it.
This year is the first I've heard of six word stories. So, I'm giving it a go today.
Everyone's up, get going for church.
Lunch of grilled ham and cheese.
Hampers full, now clean laundry piled.
Youngest naps, some others do too.
Let's get outside, jackets, hats, gloves.
Tractor's out, chopping up dead trees.
Garden readied for tilling and planting.
Plugged in camper, spring break ready.
Time to write, time to read.
I love how you used the six word format as lines in a sort of poem about your day. It conveys your busy day so much better than just six words alone could have done.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect day! Spring is coming...get the tractor and the camper out and the garden ready! #midwestspring. :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! Definitely will be "borrowing" this as motivation for a Slice. I almost love the idea of writing a whole day like this - and then going back and adding details in to really consider each part on its own - as a strategy. Going to try, thanks!
